such turbulent times. The rapid rate of changes and delays do inhibit our operations, as this is an industry-wide issue. To contend with the ongoing changes, NCS will actively update/monitor this page. Please note, that while we are
exceptionally confident in our ability to offer you fast, precise information, our pandemic circumstances may impede the process. Periodic inclement weather and flooding can also cause courts to close. While our exemplary swiftness and

Court Closures and Delays

STATUS AS OF January 9, 2025

Please note we are gathering information and tracking court delays and closures in several states and jurisdictions due to inclement winter weather. Additional updates will be provided as more information is made available. At this time, please anticipate delays in the following states and jurisdictions: Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia,District of Columbia

Sacramento	CA	10/31/2024	Delayed	Researchers are now being limited to pulling 5 case files per day. Please expect TAT increases due to the limitations at the court. Please expect delays.
San Joaquin	CA	11/1/2024	Delayed	On 11/1/24, San Joaquin County Superior Court was impacted by a ‘cybersecurity incident’. Currently the online index for San Joaquin is down and inaccessible. The onsite public access terminals are also experiencing an outage. Cout Clerks cannot provide an ETA on when the system will be restored and functioning normally. Please expect extended delays on all San Joaquin orders while the in-court system and online index outage persists.
Bibb	GA	5/14/2024	Delayed	Superior and State Court indexes are offline out of an abundance of caution due to a potential cyber-attack. The court is actively adding additional security measures and is investigating the potential breach. While the court confirmed that they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible there is no ETA at this time. Please expect delays.
Clayton	GA	12/5/2024	Delayed	Please expect delays on Clayton, GA orders due to limited PAT availability at the Superior court and required clerk assistance for additional case information. Our researchers are working diligently with court clerks to complete orders and minimize turn around time to the extent possible..
Cobb	GA	7/30/2024	Delayed	The Superior and State Courts are experiencing an internet outage, resulting in the public access terminal being down. There is currently no estimated time or timeline for when access will be restored. Please anticipate delays.
Muscogee	GA	3/26/2024	Delayed	Currently working with court clerks as we experience connectivity issues. Please expect delays while we complete searches via conventional methods.
Lafayette	LA	1/9/2025	Delayed	The online court index has moved from eCourts to Clerk Connect. Please expect delays while we adjust our research process and automation accordingly.
Kent	MI	12/18/2024	Delayed	As of 12/18/24, the District court index is down for maintenance with no ETA on when it will be restored. Please expect delays on all Kent orders while the outage persists.
Ottawa	MI	08/22/2024	Delayed	Please note at this time that all orders in Ottawa, MI are currently requiring clerk assistance due to limited information available on the primary index. Clerks are only allowing 5 names per day to be submitted for review. Due to this limitation, please expect extended turnaround time of up to 4 weeks for any Ottawa, MI search requests.
DeSoto & Tunica	MS	09/17/2024	Delayed	Daily court proceedings are leading to delays with the clerks. Please anticipate delays during this time.
Tippah	MS	12/5/2024	Delayed	Tippah, MS – As of 12/4/24, the Public Access Terminal at the court is not allowing researchers or users to log in and perform searches. The court’s administrative team is aware of the issue and are working to implement a fix. Please expect delays while the PAT issues persist.
Tunica	MS	12/5/2024	Delayed	Tunica, MS – As of 12/4/24, the court clerk assisting with research is out of the office until 12/06/24. Please expect minor delays on Tunica orders during this timeframe.
All Counties	NH	09/17/2024	Delayed	The public access terminal is currently down for unknown reasons, and there is no estimated time for restoration. Please expect delays while we complete searches via conventional methods.
Clark	NV	10/8/2024	Delayed	The public access terminal is experiencing intermittent degradation and slowness, and there is no estimated time for repair. Please anticipate delays.
Monroe	NY	1/7/2025	Delayed	Please expect delays due to required clerk assistance and clerk staffing challenges. Our team and researchers are working with the court clerks to minimize delays as much as possible.
Lucas	OH	10/10/2024	Delayed	The Lucas, OH Common Pleas Court is currently modifying its public access terminals, resulting in integration errors on our end. Our automation systems are being actively adjusted to align with these changes. Please anticipate delays as we temporarily conduct searches using traditional methods.
Lake	OH	09/24/2024	Delayed	The Lake, OH Common Pleas Court is modifying its public access terminals by including a captcha, resulting in integration errors on our end. Our automation systems are being actively adjusted to align with these changes. Please anticipate delays as we temporarily conduct searches using traditional methods.
Wood	OH	1/9/2025	Delayed	Common Pleas court is back online. Our team is working on completing all orders oldest to newest.
Grainger	TN	11/27/2024	Delayed	As of 11/27, the Public Access Terminal is down and inaccessible with no ETA on when the system will be restored. Please expect delays on all orders while the issues persist.
Marion	TN	12/12/2024	Delayed	Please expect minor delays due to clerk staffing at the court.
State Wide	Washington	11/5/2024	Delayed	As of 11/4/24, the primary online index (JIS) is down with no current timeline on when access will be restored. Please expect delays on WA orders while the outage persists.
Multiple Counties	MI	04/11/2023	Delayed	Due to Michigan’s clean slate law that went into effect on 4/11/2023, multiple counties are experiencing delays and have reporting limitations. For more information, please click here.
